ATA Gives Electronic Work Diary Thumbs Up

The use of the Electronic Work Diary will be on a voluntary basis only, Queensland Deputy Premier and Minister for Transport, Jackie Trad recently announced. Trad’s announcement which she made in her second reading comments on the Heavy Vehicle National Law Amendment Bill 2015, has been welcomed by the Australian Trucking Association.

Trucking Boss Gets 12 Year Sentence for Driver Death

The boss of an Adelaide trucking company has been jailed for more than 12 years over the death of driver Robert Brimson due to faulty brakes, without the possibility of parole for the first 10 years.
