Truck Driver Killed in Crash Involving 2 Rigs
The horrific crash between 2 rigs in Melbourne’s western suburbs has claimed the life of one of the truck drivers.
The afternoon crash on Little Boundary Road at Laverton North happened when one truck was turning right and another truck passing by swiped the turning truck, crushing the cabin and killing the driver.
The tragic incident claimed the life of the driver from Western Australia, believed to be in his 50s.
Traffic was blocked in both directions between Geelong Road and Westside Drive with police urging motorists to take alternative routes.
Police are preparing a report for the coroner.
