Volvo Global Boss Drivers Home Safety Message

Global Volvo boss Martin Lundstedt was recently on a tour of Australia including a stop at the company’s Wacol, Queensland plant after opening the company’s new Australian headquarters.

After the obligatory meetings, instead of going straight back to Sweden, he headed to Port Hedland where he embarked on a hands-on encounter with an Australian road train, not something you can do in Europe.

Mr Lundstedt spent time in the passenger seat of one of the Pilbara Heavy Haulage Girls’ trucks, a 700hp Volvo FH16, with 3 trailers attached.
