Notorious US Bridge Strikes Again
A Durham, North Carolina bridge has become notorious for peeling trucks open like a can, so notorious that the bridge has been dubbed “the can opener”.
A number of trucks had their roofs peeled off when they hit the bottom of the bridge.
The most recent crash involved an Enterprise truck which hit into the bridge in North Carolina. The bridge stripped the truck of its’ roof in the crash.
The entire roof was left hanging over the beam.
The bridge has become infamous after causing 101 accidents since 2008.
