Queensland Concrete Truck Driver Airlifted Following Rollover

A truck driver from Queensland has been airlifted with a RACQ Lifeflight Rescue helicopter after a crash on the Bruce Highway.

The crash involved a concrete and haulage truck which was fully loaded at the time. The truck had slowed to 60km after passing through roadworks just before the accident. The truck was the only vehicle involved in the incident which resulted in closure of the highway for about an hour.

The driver was trapped in the vehicle for about 10 minutes before being rescued. Bystanders helped the driver until emergency services arrived.

The man suffered a suspected head injury and was airlifted to hospital in a stable condition but had been unconscious for a short amount of time after the crash.  See more at https://www.qt.com.au/news/concrete-truck-driver-airlifted-after-rollover/3625311/
