Driver Freed after Truck Crash near Airport

A truck driver was freed by paramedics after being trapped in his vehicle after a crash near Brisbane Airport recently.
The crash left the southbound lane of the Airport Link Tunnel completely blocked.
The driver had to be extricated from the vehicle by Queensland Ambulance Service after being trapped for over an hour. He was taken to Royal Brisbane Hospital with suspected knee injuries.
Hydraulic rescue gear was used to free the driver from the truck and the road was cleared of crash debris and reopened after a couple of hours.
