Multiple Vehicle Crash Prompts Depot Raid

Following a crash involving a bus and 5 parked cars, police and Roads and Maritime Service have raided Hillsbus depots in Northmead, Seven Hills and Dural recently.

The bus belonging to the company hit five parked cars at Northmead on Wednesday. The bus driver had apparently just been employed at the public transport company.

The 44 year old bus driver had been employed for a few weeks when he lost control of the bus and ploughed into parked cars before coming to a halt on top of an SUV on Boundary Road near Kleins Sttreet.

Investigators are still waiting for blood tests to determine if the driver had any alcohol or drugs in his system at the tme of the crash. The driver’s fatigue records were also checked.
