The Infrastructure Priority List released by Infrastructure Australia (IA) has been praised by a number of road transport stakeholders including National Road Transport Association CEO, Warren Clark. Mr Clark said the list of projects would cut congestion and that would be a win for the freight industry whose safety and productivity is being compromised because of congestion.

He said investment in the road projects listed is crucial, particularly given the number of heavy vehicle accidents we’ve seen on our roads lately.

He said anything that can reduce road fatalities should be prioritised.
