QTA Says 21st Century Thinking needed for NHVL Reform

According to Queensland Trucking Association (QTA) CEO Gary Mahon the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) should be revamped, both in conception and approach in order to meet its objectives.

Mr Mahon said that the NHVL is operating in a world of apps and mobile devices, yet it’s stuck in a outdated mindset from the last century.

He called for a review of HVNL to make administration more agile and responsive in the national interest in terms of productivity, safety and efficiency. Find out more https://www.fullyloaded.com.au/industry-news/1804/hnvl-reform-needs-21st-century-thinking-says-mahon
