Teenager Critical after Being Hit by Truck
A teenage boy is in critical condition in hospital after he was hit by a truck in Melton South recently.
As truck drivers one of the major things we need to look out for is pedestrians, and incidents like this one prove how serious and tragic the consequences of not doing so can be.
The truck struck the boy on Brooklyn Road and he was flown to hospital with suspected head injuries. He is being treated at Royal Children’s Hospital and remains in a critical condition.
The cause of the collision has not yet been discovered but the truck driver was assisting police.
